Timber options

Every gavel is made from genuine hardwood — never stained or substituted — and finished by hand to bring out its natural character.

• European Beech – Light, clean, and dependable. Beech has long been the traditional choice for gavels thanks to its strength and even grain. Finished smooth and oiled, it ages quietly with use.
• American Black Walnut – Deep, chocolate-brown with natural weight. Walnut carries a dignified presence that suits the seriousness of a boardroom. We polish it carefully until the grain glows warmly in hand.
• African Zebrano – Bold streaks of dark and light grain make Zebrano unforgettable. Rare and striking, it’s a gavel for a leader who commands attention. We align the grain for strength, then finish it by hand to a satin sheen.
• African Padauk – Naturally fiery red when fresh, mellowing into dark brown as the years pass. Padauk is dense and delivers a sharp, ringing strike. Each one is hand-sanded through fine stages so the colour stays vibrant as it develops its deeper tone.
• Indian Rosewood – Dense, rare, and timeless. With deep brown and purple hues, Rosewood is prized for instruments and heirloom pieces. We polish it through thousands of grit until it feels glass-like, making every gavel worthy of display and use.
• Imbuia (coming soon) – A golden-to-brown South American hardwood, known for its natural resonance and shifting tones. Oiled and polished to bring out its warm, silky surface.
