At LilyCraft, we take our environmental responsibility seriously. As a family-owned business based in Brisbane, Australia, we believe in using sustainable and eco-friendly practices in our manufacturing process. That's why we only use natural, non-harmful chemicals and filtered rainwater collected on our own property to run our operations. We power 100% of our equipment and machinery with clean, renewable energy from the sun.

Our specialty timbers are carefully sourced from fallen trees or responsibly managed plantations, ensuring that we only use legally harvested timber that has a minimal impact on the environment. Our products are finished with all-natural oils, such as organic citrus oil mixed with flaxseed oil, which provides a moisture barrier and enhances the character of the timber. For our cutting boards, we use pure organic Tung oil that hardens to a permanent seal and self-heals when cut.

We are committed to reducing waste and finding new uses for our materials. Our wood chips are used for animal bedding, and clean timber scrap is either used as firewood or mulched or composted for our vegetable gardens. Our machine cutting fluids are based on vegetable oil and contain no harmful additives. All metal chips are sent for recycling, and our ultrasonic cleaning baths use natural detergents and are completely harmless to the environment.
