Personalised Carving Board with Juice Groove – Custom Engraved BBQ & Meat Board

For the One Who Cooks for Everyone

Every family has that person — the one at the BBQ with tongs in hand, the one carving the roast at Christmas, the one who makes sure everyone is fed before they sit down themselves. This board is made for them.

Room to Do It Properly

When you’re dealing with a whole brisket, a turkey, or a spread of steaks and sausages, a small board just doesn’t cut it. At 56 × 36 cm, this board gives you the space to slice, sort and serve without running out of room. The juice groove holds around 150ml so you can catch drippings and pour them off cleanly for gravy or sauce.

Solid, Practical, Reliable

Cut from hardwood and sealed with food‑safe tung oil, it’s heavy enough to stay put while carving. The deep juice groove with a pouring spout keeps the bench clean and saves the juices for gravy or sauce instead of losing them.

Built in Solid Timber

We make these from three proven hardwoods, all finished with food‑safe tung oil:

  • Beech – full‑stave, smooth and dense, built for heavy use and years of service.
  • Teak – resilient and naturally moisture‑resistant, a lighter board that’s still tough.
  • Zebrano – bold striped grain, best as a showpiece or serving board rather than a daily workhorse.

Whichever you choose, you’re getting a board that’s stable, durable and made to handle real food prep.

Personalised for Him

The engraving is what makes it his. Add a name, BBQ team logo or short message — whatever matters most. It’s permanent, sharp, and done in‑house.

A Gift That Gets Used

This isn’t a gift for the cupboard. It’s for every BBQ, Sunday roast, or family gathering. Practical, personal, and built to last years of use.

Caring for Your Wooden Carving Board

Important Information

This is a large, solid timber board. With real wood, movement is natural — it will expand, contract, and sometimes cup slightly with changes in humidity. This isn’t a defect; it’s just how timber behaves.

Cleaning & Drying

  • Wash both sides evenly after use — never leave it soaking.
  • Do not drip‑dry standing upright with the board’s edge on the bench. If you do, water runs down into the end grain at the bottom. End grain soaks up water quickly, which can lead to swelling and eventually splitting.
  • If you must drip‑dry, make sure the board is horizontal so moisture doesn’t pool at the ends.
  • Best practice: dry with a towel straight after washing, then store it upright so both faces get airflow.

Managing Timber Movement

  • If your board cups (slight curve), flip it so the convex side faces up. As it dries, it will usually flatten itself out.
  • Store in a stable, dry environment — avoid heat sources like ovens, dishwashers or direct sun.
  • Oil regularly with food‑grade mineral oil or board conditioner. This slows down moisture changes and keeps the board conditioned.

Keeping It in Good Shape

  • If the surface feels rough after a while, sand lightly with fine‑grit paper and re‑oil.
  • Expect some movement over time — that’s just solid wood doing its thing. With regular care, your board will settle in and keep serving for years.
