The Ultimate Wooden Carving Board for Serious Cooks
Turn meal prep into a seamless experience with the Teak, Beech, or Zebra Wood Carving Board. Designed for home cooks and grill masters alike, this board is more than just a cutting surface—it’s the foundation of great cooking. Its generous size handles everything from family pizza nights to carving a slow-smoked brisket, while the deep juice groove ensures your countertops stay clean, capturing every drop of flavourful drippings.
Premium Timber Choices
Teak Wood – Lightweight & Durable
A resilient, moisture-resistant surface, perfect for any kitchen. Crafted from finger-jointed teak, it’s lightweight yet durable, making slicing and dicing effortless.
Beech Wood – Strong & Long-Lasting
Built from full stave beech hardwood, offering a thick, solid board with a smooth, uninterrupted grain. Known for its density and strength, this board will last for years with proper care.
Zebra Wood – Dense & Distinctive
A high-end full stave option with a bold grain pattern that makes for a durable yet eye-catching serving surface. Its smooth finish holds up well under light use, preserving its natural character. However, Zebrano is better suited to serving or display boards, rather than an everyday use cutting board. For boards that will see frequent use and washing, Teak or Beech would be a better choice, as both offer greater stability and are better suited to regular cleaning.
Designed for Practicality & Performance
Juice Groove & Pouring Spout – Keep your countertops clean and save flavourful meat juices for rich gravies.
Water-Resistant Coating – Finished with organic Tung oil to protect against moisture while remaining food-safe and easy to clean.
Generous Surface Area – Handles large cuts of meat, family-sized meals, and everyday chopping with ease.

Important Information About Your Wooden Cutting Board
This is a large-sized cutting board, and natural timber movement due to moisture and humidity changes is more pronounced at this scale. This is a normal characteristic of solid wood, not a defect or cause for rejection.
Understanding Timber Movement:
- Wood expands and contracts as it absorbs or releases moisture.
- Larger boards experience more noticeable movement than smaller ones.
- Cupping (a slight curve in the board) can occur with humidity changes.
How to Manage Cupping:
- If your board cups, simply flip it over so the convex side faces up. This allows the wood to release moisture and return to a flatter shape.
- Store the board in a stable, dry environment—avoid extreme humidity or prolonged exposure to water.
- Regularly oiling your board helps to slow moisture absorption and maintain its integrity.
Large Full Stave Cutting Board Care – What to Expect & How to Look After It
Your board is made from solid, full-stave wood, so it’s going to move a little with changes in humidity—this is completely normal. Larger boards and wide timber staves are more prone to cupping or warping over time, but with the right care, it’ll settle and last for years.
Cleaning & Drying
- Wash both sides evenly after use—never leave it soaking in water.
- Dry it straight away with a towel, then store it standing up so both sides get airflow.
If Your Board Warps or Cups
- This can happen with solid wood as it takes in and releases moisture. It’s just the nature of timber.
- If it cups, flip it over and use the other side for a bit—most of the time, it will settle on its own.
- Avoid storing it near heat sources or anywhere with extreme humidity changes, like next to the dishwasher.
Keeping It in Good Shape
- Oil it regularly with food-grade mineral oil or board conditioner to help manage moisture.
- If the surface starts to feel rough, a quick sand with fine-grit sandpaper and a coat of oil will smooth it out.
What to Expect
- Wood moves, and that’s just part of having a solid timber board. A bit of movement here and there isn’t a fault—it’s just how natural wood behaves.
- With time and regular use, your board will settle and keep doing what it’s made for—being a solid, reliable part of your kitchen.
